Powering a smarter grid with AI-driven data intelligence

We capture every electron’s story—from the rooftop panel to the billing engine—inside a secure, cloud-native energy data lake. Advanced machine-learning pipelines then turn those terabytes into real-time decisions that cut losses, boost renewables and future-proof utilities.

What we solve

Legacy Pain-Point

Our Data-Centric Fix

AI anomaly models flag irregular loads within minutes; prepaid workflows close the cash loop.

One unified energy lake streams cleansed, time-aligned records to any application via open APIs.

ML forecasting and optimisation apps balance intermittency, dispatch storage and trim power-purchase costs.

Modular micro-services deploy new use-cases—Demand Response, EV billing—at the speed of software.

Zero-trust architecture, role-based access and encrypted pipelines keep the grid’s data fortress-grade secure.

How we do it

Data Lake First

All AMI, DER and IoT feeds converge in a scalable, low-latency lake built on Indian cloud zones.

AI/ML Fabric

Streaming feature-stores feed real-time models for theft detection, load forecasting, asset-health scoring and price optimisation.

Domain-specific Apps

From Bharat GridSync MDM to Solar-Track and our Head-End Gateway, each module speaks utility protocols (DLMS, CIM) out-of-the-box.

Secure by Design

AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit, continuous vulnerability scans—aligned with ISO 27001 & CERT-In guidance.

Open & Extensible

REST / MQTT APIs let your CIS, SCADA or market platform subscribe to the same single source of truth.

Why Apparent Energy?

  • Purpose-built for India, export-ready for the world
  • End-to-end stack: data ingestion → lake → AI models → user apps
  • Pure OPEX model—scale from 10 k to 10 M meters without CapEx shock
  • Renewable-first mindset—algorithms tuned for solar, wind and storage variability
  • Partner, not vendor—consulting pods embed with your OT & IT teams for rapid use-case delivery
How we work

Flagship use-cases

01

Loss-Map AI

Pinpoints technical vs. commercial leakage feeder-by-feeder; up to 5 % loss reduction in six months.
02

Prepaid + ToD Billing

Real-time credit decrement & mobile recharge; improves collection efficiency to 99 %.
03

DER Optimiser

Harmonises rooftop PV, batteries and EV fleets; raises renewable penetration while shaving peak draw.
04

Demand-Response Studio

ML identifies curtailable loads, pushes signals via smart meters and verifies response in <15 min.
05

Predictive Maintenance

Detects failing CT/PT ratios, overheating transformers and meter clock drift before they hit SAIFI.
